October 5th: Save The Date!Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will be available on October 5, 2021. All eligible Windows 10 PCs are eligible for the free upgrade. PCs will come pre-loaded with Windows 11 will will be available for purchase as well.Here are just a few highlights from the latest update:New, Inclusive Design: The new design will be modern, fresh and clean. It will also be the most inclusively designed version of Windows yet, with new accessibility improvements that were built for, and by people, with disabilities.Speed: Optimized for speed and ease of use, Windows 11 will provide efficiency, improved experiences, and much more, with touch and voice commands.Hybrid Work: The new system was designed and updated with hybrid managed IT services in mind. It delivers new experiences made for remote working, with enhanced security and familiarity.Snap Layouts: Windows 11 will provide an even more powerful way to multitask and optimize users’ screen real estate with groups and snap layouts.Chat & Widgets: A more personalized feed powered by AI, as well as Microsoft Teams being integrated into the taskbar, will provide a faster way to access information and connect with colleagues and friends.Microsoft Store: The Microsoft Store has been rebuilt with an all-new design. It makes it much easier to search and discover new games, shows, movies and apps in one location. It will also have more Android apps in collaboration with Intel and Amazon.Developer Opportunities: The new update unlocks new opportunities for developers and creators, and the Store will allow more independent software vendors to upload their apps.Stay tuned for more updates as they are released!
